INFECTION CONTROL
At Chaney, Couch, Callaway, Carter & Associates Family Dentistry, our goal is to provide the highest quality dental care in a safe environment that minimizes the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other airborne infectious diseases including the common cold and seasonal influenza.
Our team of doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, front office staff, and business administrators follow infection control measures and recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). These safety protocols include but are not limited to frequent disinfection of waiting areas, frequent handwashing and/or sanitizing, as well as screening protocols for patients and team members alike. As always, our dental hygiene and treatment rooms are thoroughly disinfected between patients.
Patients are encouraged to maintain appropriate physical distancing in our spacious waiting areas and will note that all shared reading materials have been removed. Disposable face masks and hand sanitizer are available for use.
When scheduling, and as the date of your appointment nears, please be mindful to report any recent (within the last 7-10 days) symptoms such as cough/shortness of breath, fever, or unusual body aches. Additionally, we request that you report any close contact with anyone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.
Please contact us f you have any questions or concerns prior to your visit. We look forward to seeing you!
